based in ipswich, working across brisbane and south east queensland.

I’m Matt Jeston, a Brisbane-based filmmaker, videographer and editor with a passion for visual storytelling and a soft spot for the details that make a story worth telling.

With nearly a decade of experience in broadcast television, I’ve spent my career bringing stories to life through the lens, developing a strong appreciation for the craft of filmmaking, the power of a well-told story and the little moments that often mean the most. Away from the day-to-day, I’m drawn to all things creative, from independent filmmaking and photography to experimenting with new ideas and finding different ways to tell stories.

MJ FILM CO. is an extension of that passion. A space to bring together my experience, creative perspective and love of the craft, working with people to create something genuinely meaningful.

At MJ FILM CO., we believe every story deserves to be told beautifully. From cinematic wedding films and couples photography to portraits, headshots and the little fury characters who make a house a home, we create imagery with intention, creativity and a genuine appreciation for the details.

Beyond the camera, our studio offers a considered approach to post-production, including professional editing, sound design and colour grading, bringing stories to life through thoughtful craftsmanship and a distinctive visual style.

Whether you’re celebrating a milestone, building a brand, capturing a connection or bringing a creative idea to life, we’re here to make something meaningful.

Have something in mind? Tell us what you’re dreaming up. We’d love to make it happen.
